Universal Driveway Vehicle Sensor for Automatic Gate Opener Range
Once the place of the wand has been determined, you can start installing the wand. Dig a hole approximately 2 inches deep and 24 inches long within 2 feet and parallel to the edge of the driveway.Next, dig a trench from this hole to a spot under the gate opener control box to run the cable from the WAND to the control box. Size of the trench is related to the size of the PVC conduit.Keep the WAND and the cable uncovered before the function has been tested OK. 
Q: Is it compatible with my door opener system?
A: The control board of the gate opener needs to have the normal open & dry contact output to be compatible to our Vehicle Exit Sensor Wand. The circuit board needs to provide AC/DC 12-24V output voltage, otherwise an extra power source is needed.
Q: Need to buy a battery separately?
A: The ground sensor does not need batteries, it can work when connected to the port.
Q: Where should I bury the Earth Sense Rod？
A: Buried 12-18 inches underground next to the driveway.
Q:Does it work on which vehicles?
A:It detects vehicles (cars, trucks, motorcycles, ATV’s, etc.)
