Why doesn’t it stay at a fixed temperature in Brew mode?

Brew mode is designed for flavor extraction using controlled power and time instead of holding a fixed temperature. For precise temperature control, please use Boil mode (104–212°F ).

What is the difference between Brew and Boil mode?

Brew mode controls power and time to extract tea flavor. Boil mode heats water to a precise temperature for various instant drinks.

Why are there white or brown spots in my kettle?

This is normal limescale from minerals in water, not a defect. Color may appear white, yellow, or brown depending on water quality.
