Durable & Safe: Glass French presses shatter with one bump. DHPO is made of high-fired ceramic (1200℃+), with reinforced handle and spout. All ceramic is lead-free certified and food-safe. This is 3.5 lbs — NOT a travel press. Ceramic can chip on hard floors.
Superior Heat Retention: When coffee gets cool, the taste will be bitter. Standard glass French presses lose heat within 15 minutes. Our thick ceramic walls naturally insulate — keeping coffee hot for 45-60 minutes without reheating. Note: ceramic takes 2-3 min longer to preheat than glass; add hot water to preheat body before brewing. NOT stovetop-safe.
Ultra-Fine Filtration: Most customers complain about gritty coffee from cheap filters. DHPO’s double-layer stainless steel filter with 300+ micro-meshes traps fine particles while letting rich oils through. Best with medium-coarse grind — espresso-fine may pass through.
Easy to Clean: DHPO’s non-stick glazed interior — grounds slide out, no scrubbing. Pot and filter are dishwasher-safe. The walnut wood lid is NOT — hand wash only. Avoid steel wool on the glaze.
