This digital meat thermometer has 2 probes: a wired probe, 39in long for oven/grill and another folding probe (about 6 1/2 inches) connected to the thermometer. You can use either the long prong built in to insert into the meat or you can use the attachment that comes with it so you could actually check the temperature of certain types of meat while it’s still in the oven, etc.

Calibration Function

Comes expertly pre-calibrated, but can re-calibrated anytime to assure only the most accurate reads!

Hold Function

There is a hold option so you can see the temperature instead of it changing when you pull it out of the meat.
