Will this camera work with my NVR?

Plug-and-play with VIKYLIN and Hik-vision QK Series (4.0) NVRs. Also compatible with most ON-VIF-compliant NVRs. Some systems may require IP configuration. For compatibility or setup assistance, please contact service@vikylin. com.

Do I need a power adapter to use this PoE camera?

No, a power adapter is included but optional. If you use a PoE switch,or a PoE NVR, a single Ethernet cable provides both power and data. If you don’t have PoE equipment, you can use the power adapter for power and a router for network connection.

Does the camera automatically track people?

Yes, when motion detection and auto tracking funtion (110 + call) are both enabled, the camera can follow detected movement and return to preset positions. It works best within the recommended detection range and lighting conditions.

Can one PTZ camera replace multiple fixed cameras?

PTZ provides flexible viewing, but it can only focus on one direction at a time. Fixed cameras may still be recommended for continuous multi-area coverage.

How can I restore the camera to factory settings if I have issues?

Please log in to the web interface, go to “PTZ Control,” enter “201→Call→111→Add” to reset the PTZ. Then select the camera in the Search Tool and click “Batch Reset.” If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our support team.
