Yes. DHS Tar Gel Shampoo, like our original DHS Tar Shampoo, is not only designed to help calm irritated skin and promote a healthy scalp, but it has an added mild lemon scent.

Are the medicated shampoos meant to be used every day?

We recommend using DHS Zinc, DHS SAL, and DHS Tar Shampoos three times each week, or as recommended by your doctor. We suggest using either our DHS Regular or Clear Shampoo during the “off” days.

Do you carry any products that would be appropriate for treating Folliculitis?

The symptoms of folliculitis, or inflammation at the base of the hair follicles, may be improved with use of our DHS Tar Shampoo. we recommend talking with your doctor or dermatologist to determine the best course of treatment for your symptoms.

What does the scented version smell like?

DHS Tar Gel Shampoo contains a mild lemon fragrance that helps mask the harsh Coal Tar scent.
