Installation Steps
1. Take out the hole saw drill bit and adapt it to your power drill tool.
2.Measure and mark the peephole location you want to install, and it’s suggested to use a more powerful drill that will drill faster.
3.Use hole saw to drill hole vertically in the door and it’s suggested to do slowly for several times to avoid door cracking.
4.The door viewers with built-in threads and turning the door viewers to split out the front and back ends.
5.Insert the front end of the door viewer through the outside of the door into the hole.
6.Insert the back end of the door viewer through the door in another side.
7.Use a coin or screwdriver to tighten the door viewers both ends by rotating them against the slots so that they are sealed and fixed.
8.Finally, wipe the surface of door viewers to make it clearer, the installation is completed.
Precautions and installation suggestions:
1. It is recommended to wear gloves for installation to prevent cuts.
2. The length of the included hole saw drill bit is limited, for thicker doors you need to drill several times and adjust the drill rotational speed.
3. For drilling and installation of metal doors, a higher rotational speed and more powerful drill tool may be required so that professional assistance is recommended.
4. When installing the main body, you need to tighten the built-in threads as much as possible to increase the sealing, which can effectively prevent water vapor, fog, dust, etc. from entering the inner part of and causing blurred vision.
