Before Use
For first-time use,fill the kettle with warm water and add dishwashing liquid or a little white vinegar. Rinse with clean water before use. Avoid using it with highly acidic or alkaline foods or liquids, such as salt, vinegar, or lye.
During Use
1. Only suitable for use on heating elements (induction cooktops) or burners with a flame smaller than the base of the kettle. When using gas, the flame must be kept below the base of the kettle. Improper use of the kettle may damage the product.
2. Do not expose an empty kettle to high temperatures for extended periods or allow it to boil dry.Kettles heat quickly and require only a small amount of heat. Remove the kettle from the heat immediately after the water boils.
3. Do not fill the kettle above the maximum fill line. Overfilling the kettle will affect the whistle’s effectiveness and may result in a non-sounding sound. Furthermore,water may overflow when boiling (Note: the maximum fill line is at the spout).If the water level is normal and the kettle does not sound, press the spout beeping mechanism and test again.
After Use
Not dishwasher safe, hand wash only. Hand wash with warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and then dry thoroughly immediately. Empty and completely dry your kettle after each use. Leaving water in the kettle may cause rust or mineral deposits to form.
