How to Activate 4G Cellular Service?

The device has a built-in SIM card. Once powered on, it will automatically connect to a nearby 4G network. You can check the signal strength using the signal bar displayed on the device screen.

Does Frigga require WiFi to work?

No, Wi-Fi is optional. The device can operate using its built-in 4G cellular connection. If needed, you can connect to Wi-Fi at any time by pressing and holding the device button to enter Wi-Fi setup mode.

Does the device support continuous power supply? Will it damage the battery?

Yes, the device supports continuous power supply and it will not damage the battery. We recommend keeping the device plugged in for uninterrupted operation. Please note that charging may be slower to help maintain temperature data accuracy.

How often are the readings updated?

The device display refreshes every 5 seconds in constant-on mode. Alerts are sent in real time, while normal temperature and power updates appear in the app every 10–30 minutes, depending on power supply and connection type.

Can I add multiple contacts to receive alerts?

Yes. You can add up to 5 email addresses to receive alert notifications when critical changes occur in temperature, shock, power supply, or network status.
